City of Burlington
Spectrum Sleep Out 2017
In Burlington, too many of our teens and young adults are homeless and sleep on the streets. Thanks to the incredible work of Spectrum Youth and Family Services and the countless volunteers who participate in the Sleep Out and other Spectrum efforts, Spectrum is raising awareness about teen and young adult homelessness and raising money to help solve this problem. Spectrum is a truly remarkable organization, helping teenagers, young adults, and their families turn their lives around.
The many Departments of the City of Burlington have joined together to help tackle the problem of teen and young adult homelessness by raising awareness and much-needed funds by sleeping out on Thursday, March 23rd.
We invite you to join this important effort by making a contribution to Spectrum Youth and Family Services through our City of Burlington team.
And of course, come on out to join us.
Thank you for your support!
"On a personal note, I have slept outside as part of the Sleep Out for the past three years and, every time, I come away inspired by the work Spectrum does and impressed by the many people who come together to make an impact on teen and youth homelessness." Mayor Miro Weinberger
"Impactful, life-saving, awesome, life-changing! These descriptions are top of mind when I think about Spectrum's work to create opportunities for so many teens and young adults in our community. Please take a look at Spectrum, support our City team and, significantly, please help make a difference in the lives of the young people who walk in Spectrum's doors every day of the week. Thank you!" Neale Lunderville, General Manager, Burlington Electric Department
